Journey Through the Chakras with Maya Fiennes

Lia-mayaI had a transformational experience a few weeks ago with Maya Fiennes. The workshop was in a beautiful home that made me feel like I was in the middle of a magical forest. I had no idea who she was or what we were in for except that it was “yoga”. Maya took us through breathing and movement that quickly took my overstimulated mind to a deeply meditative state. This was no cross-fit style yoga, this was deep and real. I knew that this beautiful, humble woman was something special. I didn’t find out she was a well known kundalini yoga instructor until later, which is just as well.

This is my favorite picture where she coaxed me through an exercise to open my throat (my voice), which was thoroughly blocked. This blockage was sabotaging my efforts to get my book out. I am very grateful to Maya (and Jack and Donna, our hosts) for her help in moving my book project forward. I want to share information on her next workshops with anyone who is in need of a shift or maybe just a big break from an overstimulated life, like I was.

Join Maya Fiennes* for A Journey through the Chakras Monthly Series.

The chakras are energy centers that regulate all of the systems in the body, immune, nervous, lymphatic. There are 7 chakras, each of which give vitality and energy to different parts of the body. When the chakras are blocked, your life is out of balance. Start to clear your chakras for a healthier, happier and more fulfilled life. Reconnect with yourself and allow your life to flow with harmony and ease.

Begin your journey with the first chakra at the Oak Creek Garden and Retreat center. The day will consist of a morning and afternoon session, with a break for a delicious lunch picked fresh from the garden. At the close of the day, learn a beautiful mantra to carry with you for the next month. A mantra is a powerful tool to chant every day until the second retreat in the Journey Through the Chakras Series. Maya will be holding one per month, culminating at the 7th chakra. You are encouraged to move through the series with Maya every month, but are also welcome to join in at any time.

Price per attendee: $385, to include lunch and treatment of your choice at Cinnabar Acupuncture
